How I met My Husb-friend!

Ms. B has organized a fun linky party where we get to tell how we met our hunny!  :)

This is his 30th birthday last October.  I got him tickets for us to go to a Detroit Lions game!
I've known my husband since I was about 15 years old.  My best friend's brother was his friend, so he claims we hung out together at their house but I can't confirm that!  However, when I was a sophomore in high school and he was a freshman (yes, I'm an older woman!) we had a math class together where we became "third best friends".  We were third best friends for that whole school year.  Many smiles, flirty months, and late night internet chats later (anyone remember ICQ?!)...  we started dating in November 1997, when he was a sophomore and I was a junior.

We've been together ever since.  We got married in 2004, right after we both finished college.  Our third best friendship has turned into a wonderful marriage and amazing life that I can't imagine any other way!

Head over to Ms. B's blog to join in the romance!

On a side note, where I mentioned ICQ above... he saved a chat we had before we ever were dating on ICQ.  In 2003, when he proposed to me, he printed out the entire chat and added the proposal at the end.  It was so hilarious to read the silly things we said and then, when I read to the end of the chat, there was his proposal!  And the best part is, it was something I could save forever!  I love that husband of mine!
