Last Minute St. Patty's Freebie!

I'm feeling generous and yesterday was my 1 year TpT-aversary and I have slacked in the blogging since last week as I've been sick... BOO!  I even missed my first sick day all year yesterday.  I got a glowing note from my sub and, when I thanked my kiddos for it, one little lady's eyes were literally bulging out of her head while others were frantically shaking their heads "No" at the thanks.  I said, "I take it you didn't make great choices then?" and got a lot of "Nos" back.  I was still feeling woozy this morning, so I let them off the hook.  Loved the shocked expressions though when I began to slather on the praise!

Anywho, today I'm sharing a little last minute St. Patty's Day freebie with you!

This comes from my "Sweet Treats" pack on TpT.  The pack has 34 different holiday/event Hershey bar wrappers that you can print and use in class.  I used mine for Valentine's Day and they were a huge hit...

I'm happy to share the St. Patty's Day wrappers with you!  I usually do a little something for St. Patty's Day and this was so quick and easy and loved by my kiddos at V-Day that I'm sure they'll be excited to get another one!  {PS- this gal loved the price tag too!  It was something like $0.52 per bar or some crazy amount!  Hooray and thank you to my best best friend, Target, for selling them so cheaply!}

The file on TpT is a zipped file that even has an editable file that allows you to type a message on the wrappers... Google Docs isn't liking my zipped file right now.  I've tried twice to upload it but it just freezes... so I'm just sharing the PDF of the wrappers... but I hope you'll love it anyway!

Click the pic to download!
On a side note, if you have already bought this pack, I added four new ones tonight you can give to your kiddos as a good-bye and to welcome in SUMMER!  Just go to your dashboard and re-download to enjoy the update!

Speaking of St. Patty's Day... you can still enter to win a beautiful PEEGE!  I'll announce the winner on St. Patrick's Day!

Wondering what a PEEGE even is?  Haven't entered yet?  Click HERE to head to that post to learn more!

Phew... one more thing...

I posted about this recycled St. Patty's freebie a bit ago... but if you missed it, you can click again to get a gentle reminder!

That's it!  Now that I'm no longer sick and feeling slightly more human, I'll try and do better with my blogging this week!  We are working on a cute little main and helping verb bulletin board today... so hopefully I can get a picture of that up this week too.  It's an oldie, but a goodie for those of you who have been on Pinterest or the blogging world for a little while... but they were so excited when we started working on it today!!!

Happy Sunday... and a Recycled St. Patty's Day Freebie!

Happy Sunday!  I've been working this weekend on more classroom and hallway hunts and added three yesterday... a/an article hunt, adverb hunt, author's purpose hunt!

The links are being silly right now... so if you want to check them out, you can visit the new "Classroom and Hallway Hunt" category I made for myself on TpT!

And then I spruced up this freebie!  It's amazing how, as you create more and more items you get more and more embarrassed about how your first items looked!  This one was in need of a make over... so new fonts, new graphics, and new credits page!  Please click the picture or link to get this St. Patty's Day ABC order center for free!

Head over to Sharing Kindergarten's linky party to score more great St. Patty's Day items and freebies!

I'll be grading papers today and working on a CH/SH/TH/WH hallway hunt too!

Winners x15, a McPhoto, My Booklist, and Something Fun for St. Patty's Day!

Ok bloggy friends... here's the big reveal...

If you're one of the people on my list, please e-mail me at christina4062@hotmail.com and let me know which item you'd like from my Teacher's Notebook Shop.  You can check out all of my items by clicking the button below.

Next... The McPhoto of me greeting at the door at McTeacher Night last night!  We raised over $700.00 for our reading month committee!!!!!

My Booklist:

Mrs. Foote asked yesterday what I'm reading on my Nook... I just finished The Mighty Miss Malone by Christopher Paul Curtis.  If you are a fan of his, this is a MUST read.  He is one of my favorite authors.  I got to see him speak a few years ago at MRA (a big reading conference) and he was just starting this book.  He read us the first 20 pages or so and it was just so hilarious!  I've been waiting for it to come out and it was released in January.  **An addition:  He's a Michigan author, ya'll!  If you think you don't know who he is, you really do.  He wrote Bud, Not Buddy, The Watsons Go to Birmingham, and Elijah of Butxon- which are his three most popular books.  I LOVE HIM!**

Now I'm reading A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray.  It's more along the lines of a teen paranormal type of thing, which is what I tend to read.  I'm about 1/4 done and I'm really enjoying it!

I still have I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella to read on my Nook yet and some "real" books that I got for Christmas.  And, I only have a few pages to go in The Fault in our Stars by John Green (who is another favorite author) but I'm super afraid that someone I love in the book is going to die, so I can't make myself read it!  However, I would highly recommend anything by John Green.  I've read (and own!) all of his books and I LOOOOVE them!  Looking for Alaska is one of his best!

Question for everyone who has a Nook... if we can connect somehow on Facebook, can we "lend" each other books?

Last:

Something fun for St. Patty's Day.  Marygrove College has posted a free mini-St. Patrick's Day unit over at their blog.  It's for K-2 and is super cute.  Last year I ruined the lives of my 1st graders because a leprechaun didn't come to our classroom and destroy everything like he did in Kindergarten.  Well, last year was my first year with firsties and I didn't know that was one of my jobs for the year!  Yeah.  Their lives were totally over that day.  I don't plan to make the same mistake this year and this mini-unit from Marygrove is perfect for a sneaky leprechaun attack!

And... if you missed out on the giveaway, all of my items are still 15% off until Sunday!  :)

Well, here is your free St. Patty's Day paper in both intermediate and primary lined!  Just click the pic!

Michigan Blogger Meet Up & A New Freebie For You!

Today is the "Michigan Blogger Meet Up" and I'm so excited to meet some virtual friends for real!  :)  I'm actually going to leave in a minute (4 hours early!) to try and do some shopping and guarantee that I can find you guys (gals!).

I'm sure we'll all be posting pictures and smiles when we get home tonight!

Yesterday I had a pretty boring day, so I worked on some new things for Leap Day and St. Patrick's Day.  I've put the Leap Day pack on my Teacher's Notebook shop for sale and have a St. Patrick's Day freebie up there too!

Here's a link to the freebie (click the pic)- it's a St. Patty's Day ABC order very similar to the winter ABC order I shared a month or so ago!

Enjoy!
