So, school's been out for 1 and a half days now... and I'm already thinking about the fall. I'm linking up with 4th Grade Frolics to share my first "Monday Made-It" of the summer!
One of the things I am going to implement is a daily grammar review workbook. I created a pack with 36 weeks' worth of daily grammar review for my 3rd graders. I'm departmentalized and I think that this will be the PERFECT "entering the room and settling in" activity. I plan to bind these into books for my kiddos and they can do the two boxes for each day right when they come in. We can correct it and then move on with instruction!
I'm very excited! I posted about these on my blog FB page on Saturday and got such a positive response that I made one for 2nd grade too!
If you download the preview for either pack, you can get the first three weeks for free!
Leave a comment below, sharing something new you're already thinking about for next year, and I'll send one random commenter their choice of the 2nd or 3rd grade pack later this week! I'm planning to start working on 1st grade today!
Check them out on TpT...
Don't forget to comment to win!

Wow this is such a great resource! Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about how to make the best of our spelling next year, after being told we could not switch to a more effective program. Ours is way too easy for our students...

I love this resource! Our language book is horrible so this would come in so handy! Also, we're not getting Spelling books next year so I'm starting to think about what we'll be doing for that.

Christina, Hi! I am a NEW (make that VERY NEW) teacher. I just accepted a fifth grade reading class (departmentalized). I had some questions and I was hoping (actually praying very hard) that you may be able to answer. If you could, could you please contact me? I cannot seem to find how to contact you via email on here. My email is bguice103@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much!!!
I'm a second grade teacher and I have been mapping out my homework packets this summer and would love to win this pack! applegirlamber@gmail.com

I teach 2nd grade and I am going to be trying Daily 5 for the first time next year. I am very excited to start it. poohm12@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI teach 2nd grade and these look great for us! I will be trying a new math workshop format this fall I think and use Debbie Diller math stations for help.
ReplyDeleteMy mind is just boggled down with ideas already for next year! My 3 areas of emphasis are how to make Daily 5 a more authentic experience in my classroom (aka truly implementing it!), incorporating a Math station rotation, and my classroom theme for next year (camping!).
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to start math workshop next year and I'm very excited about it! I'd love your 2nd grade pack! anhudacek@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWow! I like the idea of a quick way to incorporate a daily dose of grammar into their mornings. I didn't do such a great job on my grammar instruction last year and could use some help. Your 3rd grade pack would be great for my kids! This coming year I am going to try guided math AND Interactive NoteBooks in math as well reading/writing. Fingers crossed to win :-) JWtchr@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I am going to work on this summer is organizing my independent practice activities into some kind of system according to the CCS. These look perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI've just been hired as a 3rd grade teacher, so everything I'm planning is new! :) Right now I'm really focusing on activities for my students to do during the Daily 5. I'm also on the search for good "morning work" and your grammar packet would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love this - put it in my cart but hope to win for 3rd grade! I am working on implementing Writer's Workshop for next year. We have added CAFE to our curriculum and now we are focused on writing.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get my planbook mapped out...I will be in a new grade next year...planning field trips, too:)
ReplyDeleteI am working on developing mini lessons to go with our writers' notebooks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Show What You Know grammar activities. They are perfect for keeping their skills sharp!
i am moving from 3rd grade to 2nd grade next year and I am looking for great writing resources. I want to implement interactive notebooks into my writing curriculum. This grammar review would be awesome too!

DeleteHi, Christina. I previewed the 2nd grade packet and have already placed on my wish list to use next school year. This summer, I am working on revamping writer's workshop in my classroom. I feel that this has been a weak area for me. I plan on spending lots of time reading the writing resources used by our district. Thanks for all you do! I just love all of your great products!

These are fantastic! Great review but not overwhelming for my students. Just added it to my TpT wish list. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love both of those - 2nd and 3rd grade. That way most of the 2/3's could be doing similar pages with different levels of support.
ReplyDeleteThese look amazing. So excited to see that you added a first grade version. Would love to win that for my firsties! cadeering@sbcglobal.net (Comment above deleted because I typed my email address incorrectly.)
