Talk about quiet! And quick! And SHARP!
This sharpener has made something I dread about my morning routine quick and painless. My students, after going through a training session with me on how to correctly use it, love this thing... they are thoroughly impressed with how sharp it can get a pencil. I love that it's so quiet and easy. And it knows when a pencil is sharp, so it stops sharpening... so pencils can't get ground to a nub in a single sharpening!
I know you are all gearing up for next school year and I promise you that, if you were to purchase this and add it to your classroom in the fall, you would NOT be disappointed!

Can you tell me how long it took to get the sharpener? I just ordered it (ok so I ordered the set of 3...I will give the other two as end of the year gifts if they come soon enough...)

I bought one right after it came out... I love it, but it is starting to fall apart (which amazed me). The black things came off immediately, which makes it hard to sharpen. The front part you put the pencil in is getting loose. I am thinking about getting another one b/c I guess mine is a lemon... sad face!!!

I. TOTALLY. AGREE!!!! This sharpener is AWESOME!!! My electric sharpener died this year unexpectedly, and I was in the market for a new sharpener. I figured I had nothing to lose trying this out-- my classroom sharpener (or pencil eater as we call it)-- is terrible. This is wonderful! I only wish it sharpened colored pencils, but those really do break off in the teeth and jam it up.

ReplyDeleteA parent brought all of the teachers at my school one back from China about 7 or 8 years ago. At the time she said they cost less than $2 there!! I still have mine and have been wanting to get a second one. Looked for the longest time to try and find more and could never find them!
