It's my BIRTHDAY!

Happy Monday!

Today is my birthday so I thought I would share my "Birthday Flippy Book" with you all! I shared it before a looong time ago, but so many more people have followed my blog since then! It will be free here for a week or so... and then you'll be able to find it and more flippies at The Teaching Oasis or my Teacher's Notebook store!

Dinner with my parents, sister and brother-in-law, and husband tonight... we're going to have pizza and I can't wait. Since starting Weight Watchers last year, I have had real pizza ONE time and that was while on vacation in New York City this summer. So, pizza it is and I am going to enjoy every bite!

I couldn't think of anything I really wanted for my birthday... but I did have my eye on a purse at Kohl's and I'm crossing my fingers for tickets to a show. "Memphis" is on tour right now and we saw it in NYC this summer... I LOVED it and want to see it again. My husband is a good gift buyer so I'm hoping!!!!!!!! In NYC, the guy who played the lead was phenomenal and I really want to see someone else take on that role too. If you haven't seen or heard of it, you can instant download a recording of the show from Netflix and I would HIGHLY recommend that you do it! Immediately! If you do, let me know what you think!

Anywho, here's the b-day flippy book. I'm having my kiddos make this on their birthday while their classmates make the "birthday book" for them!

  1. Just letting you know that my package just got here! Yeah! We actually aren't that far apart geographically (I always think of Canada and the States as so far apart, but we are only about an hour from the michigan border)

    Thank so much!

  13. I bought a couple of your flippy books from the Teacher's Notebook, but am confused by them. Do you fold them? Cut them and staple? Leave as just a flat sheet and rotate to each page? Thanks for the help! I want to be able to use these the correct way! :)

  14. Hi Nicole- I think each one has little directions in the "info" section of the sale page, but perhaps I should be more thorough!

Print it just like it is. Fold it half hotdog style (so 2 and 3 are on one half and 1 and 4 are on the other). Then fold it again hamburger style and you'll have a four page booklet!

I'll add a directions page to my flippies, just incase anyone else is stuck!

    :)
    Christina
