It's Wednesday! Tomorrow we are going to a Tigers game in Detroit! Now, I'm not a huge baseball fan. Football is my true love and I love me some Lions! So, while everyone else is watching the game, I'll be staring off into the distance at Ford Field, imagining my team with a winning season!
On Friday, hubs and I are leaving for a trip up north. We're going to say ya to da UP 'eh. And if you're a Michigander, you'll totally get that!
Anywho... today I have some info for you!
1.) Don't forget you can enter to win the game tri-FACTa from Learning Resources! Click HERE to enter!
2.) Did you know I have a shop on my blog? I do! You can get $5 off a $20 purchase! You just have to enter the code BLOG when you check out!
The link to my store is up there... at the top of my blog under my blog's name. See it?
3.) In other random news, I hit the "Pocket Chart" jackpot at Target this week!
I posted this pic on my blog's FB page and a lot of people asked what I was going to do with these. I have to be honest with you.
Do you know Gollum? The character from "The Lord of the Rings"?
Do you know how he feels about the ring? Well, I'm like that about my pocket charts. I mostly just look at them and mutter things about how much I love them. Seriously. I have a problem. The truth is, I don't have a plan for them. I just needed them. And they were $1. So, naturally, I bought them all. Yeah. It's bad.
4.) And finally... we're having another Michigan Meet-Up! This is a mini one... and let me explain about it...
In Kalamazoo (behind the Crossroads Mall and next to the move theater) is a store called The Teacher's Center. Every year they had a big preview day in the summer. There are reps from all the major companies, discounts, and free large desk calendars! This year it is on Thursday, July 18, from 9:00am-3:00pm.
So, we are thinking that we will meet for lunch at Brann's Steakhouse- which is RIGHT next to the Teacher's Center at 1:00pm. What you do before that, is up to you... I'll be shopping and taking advantage of discounts, freebies, and fun! I plan to be at the store around 10:00am and if I finish shopping early, there's a Target nearby and I'll probably need more pocket charts by then! Haha!
We'd LOVE to see you!!!! Just sign-up by clicking the picture below so I know who to look for!
Ok! That's it for today. Check back on Friday because it's the 2nd Friday so I'll be doing my "Fabulous Feedback" linky! Maybe one of my feedbacks comes from you!
If you think you'll want to link up, check out my previous posts by clicking the pic below so you know the rules and what you should do... then come back on Friday to link up!

I have a language arts focus wall that I use mini-pocket charts for (not sure of the size that you got). I also made a Boggle Board with bulletin board letters that students can use if they finish their work early. I hope that you have fun up north and at the teacher meetup! Hopefully I can join all of you next time:)

Wow, cute pocket charts! Go Target! I have been trying to resist the urge to do a ton of shopping, but you bloggy girls are making this sooo hard. Have a super time on your trips. My sister and another group of friends are also going to that Tigers game! Also, I am going to double check my calendar, but I'd love to go to your MI meet up and do a little shopping. Fingers crossed!

Red, blue, and yellow! :)
DeleteI can relate to the love for the Lions. I grew up and lived in Michigan for 20+ years before I moved to Georgia several years ago. While all my family laughs at me I am still a die heart Lions fan. This is very hard in Atlanta as we don't get much coverage of these games. I of course have to also cheer for the Falcons but not when they play my Lions.
