It's My Friday! {With a tiny giveaway!}

Thanks to Mrs. Lamb for this cute graphic...  guess what?  I'm having a "Firecracker Flash Sale"!
Find some deals at TpT!

Yay!  Today is Wednesday but my hubby is off tomorrow so we're going out tonight.  We usually have date night every Friday but he said we should go out tonight... so I'm secretly hoping we'll have TWO date nights this week!!!!

Today I'm going to get a mani/pedi.  I am a HORRIBLE nail biter.  Seriously folks.  My nails are gross.  And short.  And scraggly.  I try so hard to keep them out of my mouth but I read a book and it gets tense and I bite them.  I'm watching the dang Golden Girls this morning and Blanche and her old nanny reunited and had a fight and then made up (ever seen that one 100 times too?) and I bite them!  Anyway, I'm going to get some short gels with sparkly tips and let mine grow out underneath.  I'll post a pic to my Instagram (mrsbainbridges_blog) when they're done!

Anywho, I've been busy this week making more themed buntings and... did you know... that I went back through all of my themed buntings and added an editable PowerPoint file so you can customize your own buntings with your own fonts or change up the pattern of the pennants?  Yay!  So, if you purchased any of the themed alphabet set buntings, head back and re-download because there's a PowerPoint in there now too!

Yesterday I did a little tutorial on how you can print them to different sizes.  If you missed it, check it out.  It's a great tip that works with any PDF file.  You can print full page things to 1/4 page to make flashcards... or 1/3 page and make little bookmarks.  Or even smaller and turn large things into small games for centers!

Click the pic below to check out the tutorial!

So, you're wondering about the little giveaway.  Well, it's an easy one.

Just stop in and share your 4th of July plans!  We have lunch with my in-laws and then are going to a friend's house for games and fireworks!  I'll pick a winner tomorrow to win this new patriotic bunting banner set!  Perfect to celebrate the 4th of July, Constitution Day, Memorial Day, social studies... it's a perfect match!
Find it on TpT

Here are the other bunting banners I've added this week...

You know what?  I'll give the winner of the giveaway the patriotic banner AND their choice of another... and I'll give one other winner their choice of any banner!  In the spirit of the 4th of July!  That's a thing... right?!

  1. 4th plans? Hanging out with family. My sister got her kids the opportunity to ride in the fire truck in the parade - they have no idea! Should be fun.

    P.S. - I, too, bite my nails. I let them grow, but then I bite them until they break... I'm trying to stop!

  2. 4th plans? We are staying home and having mother in law over to watch kids light fountains at night. Laid back year for us. Preparing for a big RV road trip in less than a week, so taking it easy until then.

    I, too, bite my nails. Had a mani/pedi yesterday. I get shellac on my own nails which allows them to grow without me biting them.

  22. Thanks for the giveaway! I hope your date night is wonderful! My Fourth of July plans are all about spending time with the fam! My sister, brother-in-law, and 4 year old nephew are flying in today, and we are going to watch a big fireworks display tonight. I only get to see them (my family, not the fireworks) once a year since I live in Spain, so I'm pretty dang excited about it.

  45. The 4th of July is my FAVORITE holiday. Why? Well my family has a camp on a little pond about an hour away from my house. My great grandparents bought it in the 1930s. Anyway every year growing up we would sit in tubes and watch the boat parade- yes boat parade. All the boats on the lake would decorate their boats and have a parade around the lake. Well we never had a boat as a kid but enjoyed watching it. About 7 years ago my parents got a boat and now we get to be in the parade... oh yea and a bunch of family comes up. =) this year like last year we will be launching fireworks off the dock... people are going to park their boats and watch. Happy 4th!
