WHAT. A. WEEK.
After missing Monday from being sick, Tuesday for a conference, and half a day Wednesday for a grade-level meeting... I am flying by the seat of my pants this week!
It was so sweet yesterday... I was in the building, but in a meeting for the morning, so, since I hadn't seen my kiddos for two days, I went down to my room to greet them in the morning. I was standing outside the door saying hello and every kid was so happy I was back... I got tons of hugs and lots of... "Hooray, Mrs. Bainbridge is back!" and then, they all walked in, saw my sub, and said, "And there's another sub in here!". Luckily, I had good subs all week... but it was so nice to just be there for a whole day today!
We did something super fun in science, but I left my camera at school... so I'll post about it when I can show pictures!
For now, I have posted two STUDENT WRITTEN blog posts on my other blog- Look "WHOO's" Talking! Again... I meant to post pictures but the camera it at school!
Oh- and 10 followers to go until 1500! I'll be having a sale and a giveaway when that happens!

Kids can be so sweet, can't they? I first started to feel REALLY like part of the classroom when I was out in the hallway today hanging up work, and when I went back in after about ten minutes, several kids exclaimed, "Miss Read! Where WERE you?" as if I'd been gone for hours!
ReplyDeleteChristina - good for you - 9 more now from the looks of things. Looking forward to seeing the pics.
