It's a real-time management system to help track student behaviors. I signed up my students in minutes and they were earning behavior "points" in no time! I projected mine with my LCD projector, set up my Android phone as a "remote" for it, and was adding points all day long. It was a nice visual for my students and, coupled with my clip chart, it made for a very positive day. It also helped me see who needed some more positive reinforcement.
It has charts and graphs you can print... and which teacher doesn't love THAT?!
Anyhow, I think you should check it out!
Love me some dojo! Curious on how you're going to tie it into your clip chart. I started all my children on the same avatar. They can customize after 10 positives. Are you doing daily or weekly? DO you show negatives? Just curious

I have been using class dojo for two months now. I love it. The reports I send home to parents in student's peechees every week. I love that I can take it anywhere with me by using my Iphone. I used my clipart to customize my students avatars for the moth of October it was really easy to do! LOVE IT!!! <3

ReplyDeleteI checked this site out today during my conference time and signed up my class. IT WAS AWESOME! My neighbor walked in and asked, "What's going on? It's creepy quiet in here!"
