New Christmas Around the World Freebie!

Today I'm off in Christmastown (aka- Frankenmuth) so I thought this would be a great day to unveil the newest addition to my Christmas Around the World unit, which is available on my website.

Almost everything for the unit (including the unit plan) are free! I wanted to incorporate more opportunities for writing, so the newest addition is a venn diagram and two different kinds of writing paper for students to write about their own holiday traditions compared to that of another country. The image below will take you to my site where you can see the venn diagram and other other items I've developed for the unit! If you have anything else you'd like to see for the unit, let me know. I really want to make it more comprehensive, so I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I hope you enjoy the resources! Happy Holiday-around-the-world-ing! :)

  1. Thank you for your wonderful resources!

Can you please tell me: who is the author of the story Christmas Tree that you use when talking about Germany?

    Thanks! :)

  2. This is adorable! Thank you!!

I have a question for you. Didn't you share a calendar last year? It was one the children made at Christmas time for their parents. It had a poem on the left side of the page and a calendar on the right. I wasn't able to change the pdf, but would love to do the same activity with this year's students. I'd be more than willing to purchase it from you if you've created it for this year.

    Blessings!

  3. We go to Frankenmuth every year! LOVE it. Wish I could do holidays in my school...our principal doesn't tell us no, but he's really apprehensive about doing them; so we don't. Jealous!!!!

  4. Not sure if you'll check this Sheri...

But if you go on her class website under "teachers" then "files for classroom use only" it's under the letter "C" - fillable calendar gift.

Hope that helps - I use it every year.

    Thanks Christina!!!!

  5. Thank you so much, Holly! I totally missed seeing that on her site. I used it last year, for the first time, and my parents loved it! I can't wait to get the kids started on it for this year.

  6. Sheri~

Yes- it is available on my website. I did make it a fillable PDF this year so it is editable for the dates for the future!

    :)
