and I will bring home my reading comprehension and writing binders so I can share how I have them organized.
Look for pics and explanations later!
Yesterday I went to Target (surprise, surprise) and got four more pocket charts to horde, some bookmarks and pencils, and more patterning shapes. There's a bargain bookstore next to my Target and it is going out of business, so everything was half off the already nearly half off prices! I got several Boxcar Children graphic novels, some Phonics Comics (which are great if you haven't seen them!), and a few hard cover picture books. I even splurged and got a book for myself! :) Anyone ever read Leven Thumps? I've been wanting to and for $2, I couldn't pass it up. I started it last night and it seems like it might be a great read for an upper elementary classroom.
So, my Hyundai is loaded down with a box of yard sale books (thanks dad!), my "Really Good Stuff" order from two weeks ago, and all of my Target finds so far this summer. I'm going to drop them off in my room and then help two friends organize a new set of leveled readers our parent group just bought for us! We got something like 6 copies each of 80 different titles. I can't wait to see them!
Anyway, I'll post something meaningful later... I promise!

I am so excited for your binders...I've decided to work on those this summer so I will be glad for an organization starting point!
